An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, repeating until May 6, 2023
Waves of the Past is a 3 session online event facilitated by Candace Kirby; experienced Nervous System Practitioner, Trauma Therapist and Spiritual Mentor.
“There is nothing that is a true barrier to love. Every time I lose myself in the waves of the past I find myself here again, held and reassured by this quiet immensity of loving awareness. I am soothed in her presence. I give way to love, tears and knowing that this moment is my true home.” ~ Candace
The lap of the beloved is right here where you are. Come rest. Our true nature is always quietly present even when we are overwhelmed by our life experiences.
Join Candace and a small group of friends as we come to understand the role of the nervous system in healing and spiritual awakening. We will learn to create safety, build capacity in the nervous system and trust in the present moment to meet the overwhelming impact of loss and trauma on our sensitive physiology.
Candace will guide the group in simple present moment practices and engage in teachings, meditation, grounding and orientation followed by questions and dialogue.
This event is safe enough and slow enough for the sensitized physiology of those who have experienced trauma; chronic illness, complex grief or the effects of Benzo withdrawal.
“Working with Candace has been life changing for me. Her presence is like a soft, cozy blanket wrapped around your shoulders.
Her voice will soothe and soften your system and allow any stress, strain and pressures to melt away.
Before I met Candace I was meeting life with a tightly clenched fist. I was trying to control and force life to go my way so I could feel safe. After working with Candace she taught me how to find safety within myself which has given me the capacity to deal with all that life brings including the very real challenges and difficulties.
With her gentle support something within me shifted and my system started to soften, and unfurl. I was able to meet life with an open hand and notice all the goodness and beauty that’s been here all along.” ~ Group Participant
