SUMMARY:Our Nature of Gentle Compassion
DESCRIPTION:An Awakening Path to Healing Trauma\nAn 8 week online course created by Trauma Therapist\, Organic Intelligence Certified Coach and experienced Nervous System Practitioner Candace Kirby. \nTrauma-safe and nervous system-informed practices.\nJoin Candace and a small group of friends for this 8 week online course as we learn to align our physiology with the present moment and the natural flow of things rather than forcing or imposing an outcome. We have all been trying so hard for so long to heal and now it’s time for less effort\, less intensity and more trust in our nature of compassionate presence. \nThis online series will provide understanding\, direction and clarity for attuning to the needs of the traumatized physiology while supporting the nervous system to recognize and align with the nature of the present moment. \n\n“One of the most subtly profound and gently deep experiences I have ever had has been joining you in this workshop. Thank you so much.”~ Participant \n\nThe impact of trauma is felt in our diminished capacity to know our nature of peaceful and compassionate presence. Through no fault of our own we lose our sense of connection to the present moment and feel caught in the survival currents of intensity and complexity. We are adrift and longing to be anchored here and resting in our own hearts. The momentum of our lives get reduced to managing complexity; intensity and fearing outcomes rather than being grounded here in the simple\, ordinary and peaceful nature of right now. This is the human condition. \nOver the course of eight sessions\, you will be learning to listen and tend to what your traumatized system really needs to settle into it’s natural state of ease and receptivity. You will learn to orient your physiology towards safety and provide a reliable anchor into the present moment. This groundwork is essential to your traumatized physiology. You will learn how to dissolve the tension\, bracing and contractions in the body with your compassionate presence; gentle attunement and steady devotion.sence; gentle attunement and steady devotion. \n\n“Compassion is the love that recognizes and goes forth to identify with the preciousness of all that is lost and broken within ourselves and others.”~ James Finley \n\nAs your orientation begins to shift from identification with the survival self and forcing and fighting against the momentum of past trauma you will begin to come into a greater alignment with all that is right now. You will begin to notice that tending to undigested trauma begins to call forward qualities that were lying dormant in your psyche. The traumatized system will not settle for anything less than what it needs which is what it didn’t get in childhood. Gentleness; presence; attunement; patience; slowness; softness; consistency; compassion; protection; love and devotion. \nDuring this course\, Candace invites you to:\n\nRecognize and identify your unchanging nature of infinite Presence.\nSee urgency; complexity and reactivity as symptoms of the survival system.\nExplore your connection to the ground and the present moment.\nFind safety through the reiteration of simple neurosensory practices.\nCome into relationship with your traumatized physiology by attuning to unmet needs of the past.\nLearn unconditional grace for the traumatized system.\nAllow your trust to deepen and your devotional heart to open naturally as a result of these practices.\nSee urgency; complexity and reactivity as symptoms of the survival system.\nExplore your connection to the ground and the present moment.\nFind safety through the reiteration of simple experiential practices.\nCome into relationship with your traumatized physiology.\nAttune to the needs of your undigested past.\nLearn unconditional grace for the traumatized system.\nAllow your devotional heart to open naturally as a result of these practices.\n\nWith attuned teachings; slow and gentle repetition and simple neurosensory practices you will learn to:\n\nPause and listen.\nRecognize home as right here.\nDiscern between past and present.\nFind safety in the present moment.\nRecognize the difference between complexity and simplicity.\nListen to and recognize what your physiology needs.\nBe attuned to the past as it’s still living in your physiology and to the quiet nature of present moment.\nMove with the natural impulses of contraction and expansion instead of against them.\nLearn to trust the present moment as the sacred ground of tending to the past and awakening your devotional heart.\nEmbrace tenderness and compassion as messengers of mercy to the body.\n\nWhat to Expect\nEach session offers a blend of teachings\, guided practices\, optional sharing and listening exercises\, and interactive questions and answers. \nRegistration includes:\n\nAccess to all 8 live classes.\nAll class audio recordings.\nWeekly homework practices and primings for upcoming topics.\n\nTo arrange e-transfer payment for Canadian participants email candace@candacekirby.ca. \nIf cost is a barrier please message me.  I am happy to arrange a payment plan that fits within your budget.
