The nature of gravity anchors us to the present moment. Without a felt sense of being anchored into the present moment we can easily lose our balance. Most of us live with our attention focused above the shoulders, away from the body and away from the present moment. The restoration of trust and safety includes a solid and stable anchor into the present moment.
Finding our ground supports us in coming to know the strength and integrity of our own nature. When we feel burdened we can allow ourselves to feel the ground supporting the weight of those burdens. We can rest and let those burdens down. We can let them go into the ground.
In this session I will lead the group through a grounding practice and talk about why we get disconnected and the benefits of being grounded.
Whether you are new to these kind of practices or a seasoned practitioner you are welcome to join us. The practices are simple and direct and the shared space is safe, warm and welcoming.
