Chronic stress takes an enormous toll on our bodies including our kidney/adrenals. The adrenal gland that sits like a little cap over the kidney’s produces a variety of stress hormones including adrenaline and cortisol. Both of which are meant to prepare the body for action and get us out of the way of danger.
They are not meant to be ON all the time.
For many who live with chronic stress (and most of us are right now) these little bean shaped organs become overworked and lead to adrenal fatigue which can cause all kinds of symptoms including body aches, fatigue, nervousness, sleep disturbances and digestive problems.
There are many ways to support the kidney/adrenals but most importantly we must learn ways to regulate our nervous system.

With your hands covering your kidney area bring some loving and compassionate attention. Simple words of reassurance have a huge impact on the kidneys.
The essential oil blend I use for kidney/adrenals:
- 12 drops Lemongrass
- 12 drops Juniper Berry
- Add drops. Fill to top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Apply to kidney/adrenal area.
Warm Rice Bags:
Take a break during the day and apply a warm rice bag over the kidney/adrenal area of your back and invite the kidneys to relax.
